Backup & Restore Support

Version History Fixed bugs in Call Notes that prevented saving notes and caused crashing. 3.5.0 02/23/2024 Repaired WiFi Call transfers.
Repaired a couple undo problems that were causing crashes.
Calls interface to update after returning from details and restoring notes after a cancel.
Fixed the calendar view buttons that would allow you to select them when there was no data. 3.4.9 01/28/2024 Fixed Calendar start days. You can now display your calendar starting on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday.

Changed the recording Accredited Hours, they'll no longer keep track of fractional time and carry forward. They will report everything for the reporting month.

Minor interface improvements. 3.4.8 08/09/2023 I know, it's been a long time between updates. It probably goes without saying that I am very busy. So much so that I struggled to fix major bugs in the past. I can't say things are different now, I will probably only make minor changes in the future. There are still plans to add some reports and some minor tweaks to allow for some oversights.

Hopefully you can expect a few less crashes and a little better Call editing. The drawer has been removed in addresses that allowed selecting the address from the map. For ease of use it has been added as a button. Adding an address automatically takes you t the map to select the location of the Call reducing the need for a drawer of buttons. I have added a pin to identify if an address has location coordinates, if it shows a green pin in the Call details then that address will appear on the Maps tab. It has been brought to my attention that a Unit number would be helpful for apartment buildings and I will start making plans for that.

I have also started playing with light and dark modes. The colours aren't great but I have a graphics artist looking into improving them but for now it gives you something to snicker at.

Other than that the majority of changes are associated with newer versions of iOS and the need to keep code up to date with Apple. 3.4.7 07/29/2023 I know, it's been a long time between updates. - new feature in Calendar to add notes for a specific date. (This recommendation was made a couple years ago and provision in the database was made for it then but I never got around to implementing it until now.)

Appearance
- you may not notice unless you have an iPhone6 but all the graphics have been redesigned to work with every devices screen size.

- this bug was unreported but wreaked havoc on entering data. If you didn't exit all the way out of a call to the Call List entries would NOT be saved.

Future
- Tracts and Brochure may get combined again in reports
- Bluetooth transfers have been removed in this version but will be reimplemented in the next version

Feedback
- send any feature requests or report problems to iknockorganizer@gmail.com 3.1.0 11/19/2015 Fixed: Problem that prevented new changes from being included in backups emailed from iKnock. Copying files from iTunes was never affected.

Fixed: Problem that placed Calls in the Indian Ocean. Occurred because the address of the call was never located on the map with a pin. Important: "For Calls to appear on the map you MUST use the Forward/Reverse Lookup or Placement Buttons under the editing address to ensure coordinates are properly assigned.

Fixed: Keyboard behavior when editing a Notes Detail. Keyboard would not dismiss itself properly when selecting other features within a Note.

Feature: Restore iKnock from email. The new backup file created by iKnock has an .ibu extension and can be used to restore data by simply tapping the attachment in an email. It is simply a zip file that is associated to the app. It can also be used to restore iKnock from within iTunes by changing the files .ibu extension to .zip and using your computers software to recover the files inside. It is highly recommended to make a backup of your data after updating to this release.

Feature: Share a Call including Notes in an email. Exports Call and Note details into a logical email format. 3.0.3 07/09/2014 Fixed a bug that caused a crash when sending reports without a destination email address.
